Our Story

The Borten Institute was founded in 2015 to empower Educational Diagnosticians by providing high quality professional development opportunities. The founder, Nikita Borten, often searched for professional development opportunities to hone her craft as a diag, and was often unsuccessful in the search. Seeing a need to support and nurture educational diagnosticians with professional development opportunities, she created The Borten Institute.
